HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS?

You can book a class through our website—just click on the Classes tab in the menu.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT CLASS TYPES?

  • Sol Drip: A slow, sensual class focused on smooth, fluid movements. Ideal for beginners or anyone wanting to move at a relaxed pace.
  • Sol Strut: A fun, upbeat class with strutting, floor work, and attitude. Perfect for building confidence walking and dancing in heels.
  • Sol Bounce: A high-energy, twerk-focused class with a mix of fast and slow movements. Let loose and have fun with powerful booty action!

HOW LONG ARE THE CLASSES?

Classes run for 1.5 hours.

WHAT IS THE CLASS STRUCTURE LIKE?

After welcoming everyone in, we start with a warm-up and stretch. We have a ‘self love session’ where our teacher will give some advice or insight linking to self love/confidence that’s relevant to the choreography or song. Then, the teacher teaches the choreography, allowing plenty of time for practice and run-throughs. At the end, everyone gets at least one opportunity to film themselves performing (if they want to). We finish with a debrief, cooldown, and stretch.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE?

If you’re running late and can, please message us to let us know. You can join in whenever you arrive, but if you miss the warm-up/stretch, we ask that you take a few minutes to warm up on your own before jumping into class.

DO I HAVE TO FILM?

Filming is recommended for you to view your personal growth over time, but it is completely optional.

CAN I RECORD MY OWN VIDEOS?

You can set your phone up against the mirror during filming if you’d like. Alternatively, we split the group during filming, so there will always be someone available to film you and capture your best angles!

CAN I POST CLASS VIDEOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Yes, we encourage you to post class videos on social media! Just remember to tag us @solspacenz on Instagram.

WHAT IF I’M NERVOUS OR DON’T FEEL CONFIDENT?

It’s totally normal to feel nervous or lacking in confidence when starting something new, but know that you’re in a supportive and welcoming environment. Our teachers and fellow dancers are here to encourage you every step of the way, and the energy in class is all about lifting each other up. Remember, everyone starts somewhere, and with each class you attend and every practice session, your confidence will grow. We’re all here for you, and we can’t wait to see you shine!

WHAT IF I HAVE AN INJURY?

If you have an injury, follow your health professional’s advice and listen to your body. As much as we love dance, your health comes first—don’t push through pain. Rest is important, so take care of yourself!

Cancellation Policies

CAN I RESCHEDULE A CLASS IF I CAN’T MAKE IT?

Yes, you can reschedule if you contact Sol Space at least 12 hours before the class start time. We’ll issue you a store credit for 100% off a class of your choice, valid for 1 month from the date of issue.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS IF I MISS A CLASS?

Refunds are only available if you cancel at least 24 hours before the class start time. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, we can only offer store credit.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRANSFER MY TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket if you contact us at least 6 hours before class. Please provide the full name and email address of the person you’re transferring your ticket to, so we can update the attendee details.

WHAT HAPPENS IF SOL SPACE CANCELS A CLASS?

If Sol Space has to cancel a class, we’ll contact everyone affected. You can choose between a refund or store credit for the class.
